RedStream: a dark red cinema for this season's movies and TV shows, from Sinners and Superman to Severance and The Pitt

RedStream arrived in 2024 as a sleek dark site that called itself an online movies, TV shows and cinema app. Its home page led with a carousel titled New items of this season, a pair of tabs for new items and Hollywood movies, a grid of TV shows with a Show more button, and a big red band inviting visitors to get the RedStream app. A year later it had turned darker still, with a near-black page, a bright red wordmark and rows of posters that swept sideways. RedStream today keeps that cinema-at-night feeling and gives it a better destination: every movie and series opens on the official services that carry it in your country, through one Watch now button.

This guide starts with the page itself: the charcoal header, the season carousel, the tabs, the TV grid and the app band. Then it walks the shelves: the new items of 2025 and 2026, the Hollywood hits since 2020, the top rated titles, superheroes, animation, horror and a long tour of the TV shows. It ends with the practical side, from the RedStream app and your TV to picture quality, subtitles, free viewing, My List and safe streaming. For the quick version, read how to watch on RedStream.

The RedStream design

The 2024 RedStream was built on FlixGo, a popular dark cinema template, and its archived main.css sets the palette. The page and the header share a deep charcoal, #2B2B31, while the logo block and the footer sit a shade darker at #28282D. The signature is a gradient that runs from a hot pink, #FF55A5, to a warm coral, #FF5860; it colours buttons, category links and the glow that washes over a poster when you point at it. Menu links are set in Ubuntu at a light weight, in capitals, in white at three-quarters strength, and body text uses Open Sans.

RedStream added its own touches on top of the template. The app band used a punchy red, #FF5252, that turned a golden #DEB74E on hover. The 2025 version brought in a pure cinema red, #E50914, for the wordmark and a four-pixel rule under the hero, plus two small tags on every poster: a red one at the top and a black score tag at the bottom. RedStream today combines both years, measured straight from the archived style sheets.

The charcoal header

The header stays fixed at the top as you scroll. On the left, a darker block holds the logo: a round play button filled with the pink-to-coral gradient, then Red in bold cinema red and Stream in light white. The menu follows in small capitals: Home, Movies, TV Shows, New items, Top rated, A-Z, My List and Help. Each link glows pink when you point at it.

To the right sits a dark search field with a gradient button, and beside it a red App button with a soft red glow, a nod to the Download APK button that sat in the same spot in 2024. Today it opens the guide to the RedStream app and devices. On a phone the menu folds into three white bars, and the search moves into the panel they open.

The poster cards

Every card on RedStream follows the same design. The poster has softly rounded corners and a deep shadow. A red tag in the top corner reads HD on a film and shows the season count on a series, and a black tag in the bottom corner shows the score with a star. Point at the poster and it lifts slightly, a pink-to-coral wash fades over it and a white play ring appears in the middle. Below the poster come the title in white and two genres in soft coral.

The New items tabs

Below the carousel comes the content block that gave FlixGo its character. A light heading reads New items, and under it three tabs run in capitals: New items, Hollywood movies and Top rated. The active tab carries a short gradient underline with a gentle glow. Tap another and the list below changes instantly.

Each tab shows eight titles in a two-column list, a layout that suits reading as well as browsing. Every entry has a poster on the left and, beside it, the title, its genres, the score, an HD label, the year and a four-line summary of the story. The New items tab might list Sinners, Superman and Weapons; the Hollywood movies tab covers 2023 and 2024 with films such as Dune: Part Two and Oppenheimer; Top rated brings the highest-scoring films of all.

The TV Shows grid

Next comes a grid of TV shows, six across on a wide screen, sorted by current popularity. The red corner tag shows each series' season count at a glance: a long-runner like Chicago Med or 9-1-1 shows a big number, while The Pitt or MobLand shows a small one. A Show more button with a coral outline sits under the grid, filling with the gradient when you point at it, just as the 2024 button did, and leads to the full TV Shows page.

The app band

Midway down the page, a dark panel with a red edge invites you to get the RedStream app. In 2024 this band offered an APK file. Today it explains the simpler, safer route: add RedStream to your home screen from the browser, and let each title play in the official apps you already have. The red button turns gold when you point at it, the same hover colour the original used.

The updates band

The 2024 home page also invited visitors to join a Telegram channel for news. RedStream today keeps the idea in a softer form: a pink-tinted band called Stay updated, with a button to the New items shelf, where the latest films always come first. One tap is all it takes, and the shelf refreshes itself as new films arrive.

Inside a title page

A title page on RedStream opens with the backdrop and poster, the title, the year, running time, genres and score. The story comes next, followed by the director and cast with their photos. The Watch now button sits in its own panel with a country picker, and Add to My List sits beside it. Series pages add every season, with episode titles, air dates and short summaries, and a row of related titles closes each page.

Open Severance, for example, and you will find the seasons laid out in order, each episode ready to tick off as you watch. Open The Wild Robot and the related row fills with family animation such as Moana 2 and How to Train Your Dragon.

New items: the 2026 slate

The New items shelf covers 2025 and 2026, and this year's slate is one of the strongest in a long while. Project Hail Mary adapts Andy Weir's novel about a science teacher who wakes alone on a spacecraft with a mission to save the Sun, and a surprising new friend. Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey brings Homer's epic to the screen, filmed on IMAX cameras. Toy Story 5 reunites Woody and Buzz, and Pixar's Hoppers sends a young animal lover into the body of a robotic beaver.

Superheroes are everywhere. Spider-Man: Brand New Day opens a new chapter for Tom Holland's Peter Parker, Supergirl follows Kara Zor-El into space, and The Punisher: One Last Kill gives Frank Castle a special of his own. Star Wars returns to cinemas with The Mandalorian and Grogu, and Nintendo follows up its hit with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

There is plenty more: Michael, the story of Michael Jackson; The Devil Wears Prada 2, with Meryl Streep back as Miranda Priestly; Masters of the Universe, Mortal Kombat II, Minions & Monsters, Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, Scream 7, Evil Dead Burn, Lee Cronin's The Mummy and Disclosure Day, Steven Spielberg's new science-fiction film. The new items guide keeps a short list.

New items: the 2025 favourites

2025 gave RedStream some of its best-loved cards. Sinners, Ryan Coogler's vampire story set in 1930s Mississippi, became a box-office sensation and a critical favourite, with a blues soundtrack people still play. Weapons turned a mystery about a class of vanished schoolchildren into the horror hit of the summer. One Battle After Another, Paul Thomas Anderson's film with Leonardo DiCaprio, was an awards-season front-runner.

Blockbusters filled the rest of the year. Superman gave DC a hopeful new start, The Fantastic 4: First Steps brought Marvel's first family to a retro-future New York, and Thunderbolts* gathered a team of misfits. Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning sent Ethan Hunt on one more daring mission, F1 put Brad Pitt behind the wheel, and Jurassic World Rebirth returned to the dinosaurs.

Families had Zootopia 2, Lilo & Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon and A Minecraft Movie, which became one of the year's biggest surprises, and KPop Demon Hunters became a worldwide phenomenon, with songs that topped the charts. The year closed with Avatar: Fire and Ash and Wicked: For Good. Open New items of this season for the full shelf.

The 2023-2024 hits

The Hollywood movies tab on the home page covers 2023 and 2024, two years full of memorable films. Oppenheimer and Barbie opened on the same weekend in 2023 and turned into a cultural event of their own. Oppenheimer went on to win Best Picture. Dune: Part Two completed Denis Villeneuve's epic in 2024, and Killers of the Flower Moon gave Martin Scorsese one of his most powerful films.

Action fans had John Wick: Chapter 4, The Equalizer 3, The Beekeeper, Road House and Gladiator II. Science fiction had Alien: Romulus, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. For the family, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Inside Out 2, Moana 2, Kung Fu Panda 4, Despicable Me 4 and The Wild Robot made those years a high point for animation. Open 2023-2024 hits for all of them.

The 2020-2022 hits

The shelf for 2020 to 2022 remembers the films that brought audiences back to cinemas. Top Gun: Maverick was the big one, a sequel thirty-six years in the making with real jets and a crowd-pleasing finale. Avatar: The Way of Water returned to Pandora beneath the waves, Dune began Villeneuve's saga, and The Batman gave Gotham a rain-soaked detective noir.

Marvel had Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Black Widow, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder, and Daniel Craig said goodbye to James Bond. Everything Everywhere All at Once became the surprise Oscar champion, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish gave animation a bold new look, and Bullet Train, The Gentlemen, Wrath of Man and Fall kept the thrills coming. Open 2020-2022 hits.

Hollywood movies

The Hollywood movies shelf gathers every English-language film on RedStream since 2020, sorted by popularity. It is the widest shelf on the site and the best place to browse when you simply want a good film tonight. The Hollywood guide picks highlights, and the full list lives at Hollywood movies.

Top rated

The Top rated shelf lists the films and series that have scored eight or more from well over a thousand TMDB voters. Among the films, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Wild Robot, Project Hail Mary and Dune: Part Two stand out. The series are just as strong, with Better Call Saul, Severance, Succession, The Pitt, Stranger Things and Mr. Robot all well above the mark. Open Top rated to see them sorted by score.

Superheroes

RedStream has one of the fullest superhero shelves around. Marvel's recent run takes in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, a moving farewell to the Guardians, then Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic 4: First Steps, heading towards Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Sony's side of the web includes Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Venom: The Last Dance and Kraven the Hunter.

DC's new era starts with James Gunn's Superman and continues with Supergirl, while The Batman, The Suicide Squad and Black Adam fill out the shelf. On television, Loki, What If...?, Marvel's Daredevil, Daredevil: Born Again and Marvel's The Punisher carry Marvel's stories, and Superman & Lois, Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow carry DC's. The superhero guide keeps a short version.

Animation for the whole family

Animation is one of the strongest corners of the catalogue. Sony's Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse pushed the art form in a new direction, with every universe drawn in its own style. DreamWorks' The Wild Robot told a tender story of a robot raising a gosling on a wild island, and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish painted its adventure like a storybook.

Pixar has Inside Out 2, with Anxiety joining Riley's emotions, and the 2026 pair of Toy Story 5 and Hoppers. Disney has Moana 2 and Zootopia 2, Illumination has The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Despicable Me 4, Migration and Minions & Monsters, and DreamWorks adds Kung Fu Panda 4. KPop Demon Hunters rounds off the shelf with a musical adventure that kids and parents both sing along to. The Family and animation shelf has them all.

Horror and thrillers

Horror has had a great few years, and the Horror and thriller shelf proves it. Sinners mixed vampires with the blues, Weapons built its mystery from several points of view, and 28 Years Later returned to the rage-infected Britain of Danny Boyle's classic. The Conjuring: Last Rites closed the Warrens' story, Alien: Romulus took the franchise back to its claustrophobic roots, and Scream 7 brought Ghostface back once again.

Human-sized thrills come from The Gorge, a romance-meets-action adventure across a mysterious chasm, Send Help, Fall and the series FROM, The Night Agent and Severance. Open Horror and thriller.

Action on RedStream

The Action shelf is packed. Keanu Reeves's John Wick: Chapter 4 stages some of the most dazzling fight scenes ever filmed, from a Paris staircase to an Osaka hotel. Jason Statham takes on scammers in The Beekeeper, builders' yards in A Working Man and an old score in Wrath of Man. Denzel Washington returns as Robert McCall in The Equalizer 3, and Jake Gyllenhaal fights his way through a Florida roadhouse in Road House.

The spectacle films belong here too: Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, Top Gun: Maverick, Gladiator II, Fast X, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and Meg 2: The Trench. And Ballerina spins a new story out of the John Wick world, with Ana de Armas as a trained assassin. Open Action.

Science fiction and fantasy

Science fiction fans can start with Dune and Dune: Part Two, then move to Project Hail Mary, Mickey 17, The Running Man and Predator: Badlands. Avatar: The Way of Water and Avatar: Fire and Ash continue James Cameron's Pandora saga, and War of the Worlds updates H. G. Wells for the screen era.

On television, The Expanse, For All Mankind, Silo, Dark Matter, Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and The Orville explore space and alternate histories, while The Witcher and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power cover the fantasy side. Open Sci-Fi and fantasy.

From games to the big screen

Video games have become one of Hollywood's richest sources, and RedStream has the best of the recent wave. The Super Mario Bros. Movie became one of the most successful animated films ever, and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie follows it in 2026. A Minecraft Movie, with Jack Black and Jason Momoa, turned the block-building game into a riotous adventure that audiences cheered along to.

Sega's blue hedgehog races through Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 3, where Keanu Reeves voices the villain Shadow. Mortal Kombat II steps back into the tournament, and the TV shelf adds the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender, based on the animated series rather than a game, for anyone who loves a faithful adaptation.

Stories from the page

Many of RedStream's films began as books. Project Hail Mary adapts Andy Weir, the author of The Martian. Dune and Dune: Part Two adapt Frank Herbert's classic, Killers of the Flower Moon adapts David Grann's history of the Osage murders, and Oppenheimer draws on the biography American Prometheus. The Running Man returns to Stephen King's novel, Mickey 17 adapts Edward Ashton's Mickey7, and The Wild Robot comes from Peter Brown's picture-book series.

On television, Reacher follows Lee Child's novels, Slow Horses adapts Mick Herron's Slough House books, The Expanse adapts the novels of James S. A. Corey, and The Witcher comes from Andrzej Sapkowski's fantasy saga. For readers, the title pages make it easy to see the story on screen after finishing the book.

Weekend marathons

Some shelves are built for a long weekend. The two Dune films run to about five and a half hours together, a perfect Saturday. The Avatar films make a spectacular trilogy for a rainy Sunday. The John Wick world stretches from John Wick: Chapter 4 to Ballerina, and the latest Planet of the Apes and Alien films each stand alone for a single evening. On the TV side, a season of Slow Horses or The Pitt fits neatly into two nights.

TV shows on RedStream

The TV Shows shelf is where RedStream really opens up, with more than sixty series and every season listed on its page. It leans towards the shows people follow week after week, from prestige drama to comfort procedurals, and every card carries the red tag with its season count. The TV shows guide gives a short tour; the sections below go further.

Prestige drama

Severance is the office thriller everyone talks about: workers at Lumon Industries have their memories split between work and home, and the mystery deepens with every episode. Succession follows the Roy family's battle over a media empire with savage wit, and The Crown traces the reign of Elizabeth II across six seasons and three casts.

The Pitt brought the medical drama back to the top in 2025, following one shift in a Pittsburgh emergency room hour by hour. Slow Horses follows a team of MI5 misfits led by Gary Oldman's gloriously scruffy Jackson Lamb. Better Call Saul, Mr. Robot and Billions round out the shelf of sharp, grown-up drama.

Action and espionage series

Reacher brings Lee Child's giant drifter to the screen with fists and wry humour, The Night Agent starts with a single phone call to a White House basement, and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan takes the CIA analyst around the world. Lioness follows an undercover programme in the fight against terror, and MobLand pits two London crime families against each other, with Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.

Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen turns his film into a series about an aristocrat who inherits an estate with a very profitable secret. Cobra Kai revives The Karate Kid rivalry thirty years on, and Snowfall tracks the rise of crack cocaine in 1980s Los Angeles.

Procedurals and first responders

For comfortable, satisfying viewing, the procedurals are hard to beat. Chicago Med joins the One Chicago family in the hospital, FBI follows the New York field office, and 9-1-1 and Station 19 follow the first responders of Los Angeles and Seattle. The Rookie, S.W.A.T., SEAL Team and MacGyver add action, and Lethal Weapon turns the buddy-cop classic into a series.

The medical dramas include The Good Doctor, New Amsterdam and The Resident, and Blindspot opens with a woman covered in mysterious tattoos, each one a clue. Lucifer gives the devil a nightclub and a detective partner.

Series with big worlds

Stranger Things made Hawkins and the Upside Down one of television's great settings. Wednesday gave the Addams family daughter her own school mystery, and The Mandalorian brought Star Wars to the small screen with Grogu. Avatar: The Last Airbender turns the beloved animated series into a live-action adventure, and The Chosen retells the life of Jesus through the eyes of the people who met him.

Silo follows the last people on Earth living in a buried tower, FROM traps a handful of travellers in a town ringed by dark forest, and Outer Banks sends teenage treasure hunters across the Carolina coast. Fear the Walking Dead expands the zombie saga, and Riverdale turns Archie comics into a moody mystery.

Comedy series

Ted Lasso follows an American coach who takes over an English football club with kindness as his main tactic. Only Murders in the Building sends three true-crime fans, played by Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, into mysteries in their own apartment block. What We Do in the Shadows follows vampire housemates on Staten Island, Superstore finds comedy on the shop floor, and Young Sheldon tells the childhood story of the famous physicist. This Is Us brings the tears, and Star vs. the Forces of Evil is a bright cartoon for younger viewers.

Picking tonight's film

With so many posters on one page, a quick plan helps. Decide first whether tonight is a film night or a series night; a single film like The Gorge fits a weeknight, while a series like Severance rewards a whole weekend. Then pick a mood: the tabs on the home page split new films from the 2023-2024 hits and the top rated classics of recent years.

The score tag is useful for a quick filter. Anything around eight has pleased a very large audience, and the Top rated shelf gathers those titles in one place. For series, the red tag shows how many seasons lie ahead. And if two people disagree, the related row at the bottom of each title page often finds the perfect compromise.

Filmmakers to follow

Denis Villeneuve made Dune and Dune: Part Two, vast and patient science fiction. Christopher Nolan made Oppenheimer and The Odyssey. Ryan Coogler, the director behind Black Panther, made Sinners, and Paul Thomas Anderson made One Battle After Another. Greta Gerwig directed Barbie, and Martin Scorsese directed Killers of the Flower Moon.

James Gunn made Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Suicide Squad and Superman. Bong Joon-ho, the director of Parasite, made Mickey 17 with Robert Pattinson. Zach Cregger made Weapons, Danny Boyle returned for 28 Years Later, and Edgar Wright directed The Running Man.

Stars on RedStream

Ryan Gosling stars in Barbie and Project Hail Mary. Leonardo DiCaprio leads Killers of the Flower Moon and One Battle After Another. Timothée Chalamet anchors the Dune films, and Zendaya appears alongside him. Tom Cruise flies and runs through Top Gun: Maverick and Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, and Brad Pitt races in F1 and fights on a train in Bullet Train.

Dune: Part Two won for its sound and visual effects, and The Wild Robot and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse were celebrated across the animation awards.

Soundtracks to turn up

Music runs through many of these films. Sinners is filled with the blues, Barbie gave the world a chart-topping soundtrack, and KPop Demon Hunters turned its songs into global hits. Wicked: For Good brings the second half of the musical to the screen, and Michael celebrates Michael Jackson's music. Top Gun: Maverick had Lady Gaga's Hold My Hand, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ends with one last Awesome Mix.

Films that reward a second look

Some films reveal more the second time. Weapons tells its story from several characters in turn, and the clues click into place on a rewatch. Everything Everywhere All at Once hides jokes and callbacks in the corners of its many universes. Sinners layers its music and history so richly that a second viewing feels like a new film, and Oppenheimer rewards close attention to its colour and black-and-white timelines.

Series work the same way. The first season of Severance plants details that pay off much later, and Mr. Robot and Dark Matter are built around twists that change how every earlier episode looks. My List makes it easy to line up a rewatch, with each episode ready to tick off again.

Seasonal picks

For autumn evenings, horror comes into its own: The Conjuring: Last Rites, Scream 7 and a season of FROM. Winter holidays suit big family films such as Red One, Moana 2 and Wicked: For Good. Spring is a good time to catch up on awards films like One Battle After Another, and summer belongs to blockbusters such as Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman.

The Watch now button

Every title page on RedStream carries a Watch now panel. Pick your country from the list, which starts with the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and India and continues with Ireland, New Zealand, the Philippines, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Germany, France, Brazil and Mexico, then press the button. RedStream opens the title's JustWatch page for that country.

JustWatch sorts the options into streaming with a subscription, renting, buying and free with ads. Choose one and the film or series opens in that service's own app or website. RedStream remembers your country, so the next Watch now goes straight to the right list.

The services behind the titles

Most titles on RedStream live on a handful of big services. Netflix is home to Wednesday, Stranger Things, The Night Agent and KPop Demon Hunters. Disney+ carries Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars, including The Mandalorian and Loki. Apple TV has Severance, Slow Horses, Ted Lasso and For All Mankind, and Prime Video has Reacher and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.

HBO Max carries Succession, The Pitt and the Warner Bros and DC films, while Paramount+ has Lioness and MobLand, and Hulu, Peacock and others carry the network series. The exact line-up changes from country to country, which is why Watch now always asks where you are. The other ways to watch page lists the main services.

The RedStream app today

The 2024 RedStream offered an APK to download. RedStream today takes a simpler and safer route: it runs in your phone's browser and can be added to the home screen like any app. In Chrome on Android, open the menu and tap Add to Home screen; in Safari on an iPhone, tap the share icon and choose Add to Home Screen. The RedStream icon, a gradient play circle, appears beside your other apps.

The films and series themselves play in the official apps of the services that carry them. Install those from Google Play or the App Store, where they update themselves and keep your phone secure. The apps and devices guide walks through each step.

On the big screen

On a television, the official streaming apps run on Fire TV sticks, Google TV and Android TV, Roku players and TVs, Apple TV boxes and the smart TVs of Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL and Hisense. PlayStation and Xbox consoles carry most of them as well. Sign in once, and your profiles and progress follow you from phone to TV.

Casting is the quickest bridge. Find a film on RedStream on your phone, press Watch now, open it in the service's app and tap the cast icon to send it to a Chromecast or Google TV. On an iPhone, AirPlay sends it to an Apple TV or an AirPlay-ready television.

HD, 4K and sound

The HD tag on RedStream's film cards reflects how the official services stream: in high definition as standard, mostly at 1080p. Many recent films go further, with 4K resolution, HDR colour and Dolby Atmos sound. Dune: Part Two, Oppenheimer, Avatar: Fire and Ash, F1 and Top Gun: Maverick are showcase titles for a good home cinema.

For smooth HD, around five megabits per second is enough; for 4K, aim for about twenty-five. Set each service's quality to High or Auto, use a 4K plan and screen for the sharpest image, and try the TV's Filmmaker or Movie mode for natural colour. The video quality guide has the details.

A better picture at home

A few tweaks go a long way. Keep the router in an open spot near the television, or plug the TV into it with a network cable. Pause large downloads on other devices during a film, and restart the router now and then. If the sound seems quiet, most services offer a dialogue-boost or night mode that lifts voices above the music.

Subtitles, dubs and captions

Every major service offers subtitles, switched on from the speech-bubble icon in the player. Big releases usually come with several dubbed audio tracks too, so a Spanish, French or Hindi version is often a tap away. Closed captions add descriptions of sounds, and audio description narrates the action for blind and partially sighted viewers. The subtitles guide explains more.

Free and legal viewing

A good share of great viewing is completely free. Tubi, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel and Plex stream films and series free with adverts in many countries, and a public library card often unlocks Kanopy and Hoopla. When a RedStream title has a free option where you live, it appears in the Watch now list next to the paid choices.

Trials are another route. Many subscription services start with a free week or month, time enough for a short, brilliant series like Slow Horses or Severance. The free movies page keeps a list.

My List

My List is RedStream's watchlist. Press Add to My List on any title page and it is saved in your browser, private to you. Open My List from the menu to see your saved titles, and remove any you have finished with one tap.

Series tracking is built in: tick each episode as you watch, and RedStream remembers your place in long runs like Chicago Med, 9-1-1 or The Good Doctor. Export writes the whole list to a small file, and Import restores it on another phone or computer. The My List guide explains more.

Watching together

Most services let each person have a profile, so recommendations and progress stay separate, and kids profiles keep younger viewers to age-appropriate titles. On RedStream, the Family and animation shelf is a handy starting point for a shared evening, with Inside Out 2, The Wild Robot, Moana 2 and Lilo & Stitch.

Movie night ideas

For a family night, try Zootopia 2 or How to Train Your Dragon. For an action double bill, pair John Wick: Chapter 4 with Ballerina. For a scary evening, watch Weapons and then 28 Years Later. For a big-screen spectacle, the two Dune films back to back make a perfect Saturday, and a Spider-Verse night suits every age.

Reading the score tag

The black tag on every poster shows the average TMDB rating on a ten-point scale. A seven means most viewers enjoyed it, an eight means they loved it. The vote count on the title page adds context: a score built from tens of thousands of votes, like the one for Dune: Part Two, is steady, while a brand-new release may shift as more people watch. Let the score guide you and your own taste decide.

From cinema to streaming

New films follow a familiar path. A few weeks after the cinema premiere, most arrive for digital rental or purchase; a few months later, they join a subscription service. Some streaming originals skip straight to their home service. The latest releases page explains the pattern, and Watch now always shows where a title is right now.

Recognising RedStream

RedStream is easy to spot: a charcoal page, a darker logo block holding a gradient play circle with Red in cinema red and Stream in white, capital-letter menu links, a red App button, and posters wearing a red tag on top and a black score tag below. The home page opens with New items of this season above a bold red rule.

Save the home page as a bookmark and add it to your phone's home screen so the right address is always close. The official site page covers the details, and the site status page explains what to try when a page loads slowly.

Safe streaming habits

Good habits keep streaming worry-free. Install apps only from Google Play, the App Store or your TV's own store. Keep your phone, browser and TV software updated. Give each streaming account its own strong password, ideally kept in a password manager, and switch on two-step sign-in wherever a service offers it.

Before you sign in or pay, glance at the address bar and make sure it shows the service's real name. RedStream sends you to JustWatch, and JustWatch sends you to the official service, so every step is a trusted one. The safety guide has a short checklist.

Privacy on RedStream

RedStream keeps your data close to home. My List, ticked episodes and your chosen country are stored in your own browser, and you can clear them at any time or move them with Export and Import. Posters, stories, cast and episodes come from TMDB, the community film database, and the viewing options come from JustWatch.

How the catalogue is chosen

The catalogue follows RedStream's own years. The heart of it is the films of 2023 to 2026, chosen from the titles with the largest audiences on TMDB, with the big Hollywood films of 2020 to 2022 just before them. Around the films sit more than sixty TV shows, from the latest prestige dramas to the long-running procedurals people follow season after season.

Every title is checked by hand before it joins a shelf and comes with a poster, a story and a score. The New items shelf always shows the newest films first, and the genre shelves grow as new titles arrive.

A short history of RedStream

RedStream appeared at redstream.xyz in 2024, describing itself as an online movies, TV shows and cinema app. Its home page used the FlixGo template, with a New items of this season carousel, tabs for new items and Hollywood movies, a TV Shows grid, an APK download band and an invitation to a Telegram channel. By early 2025 it had moved to a darker, simpler design with a red wordmark, a large carousel and horizontal rows of posters tagged in red and black. The same name has also been used for unrelated sports-streaming pages on other addresses.

RedStream today keeps the look people remember from both years and points every title to the official services, in HD, with subtitles, on every device, and with a free option wherever one exists.

A first visit

On a first visit, let the season carousel suggest something new, then flick through the three tabs below it. Open any poster that catches your eye, read the story, and press Watch now to see where it plays. Add a few titles to My List, try the TV Shows grid for your next series, and add RedStream to your home screen. By the end of a coffee, your watchlist for the week is ready.
